After all that is done, there will be a screen that reads "Waiting for more players". The picture of the Xbox is directly above your profile name, and above your picture will be a word. That word will be used as your name when XBox goes online. This works best when there is only one controller plugged into the Xbox, so the multi-player game will not start before you see your name. To change the name on your Xbox you can also use Cel Damage. When you enter a valid cheat code in the game, it will also change the name of your Xbox (for example, ENCHILADA!). To change the name on your Xbox you can also use Moto GP. Your Xbox will be renamed to the profile name used in that game. To change the name on your Xbox you can also use Return To Castle Wolfenstein. Create an Xbox Live! nickname (you do not have to actually sign up or use it), and that entry will now be your Xbox's name. Progressive Scan Dashboard Note: This requires the Tsunami Xbox Live! update, a high definition monitor, and the High Definition AV pack. Enable the 480p resolution option in the Xbox's video settings. Recommended MVP point purchases The first thing that you should buy with your MVP reward are the legends and heroes teams. After you unlock all of them, write down the roster of one of those teams. Then, start a new dynasty with any team but make sure you can use unlockable players. Then, release all of your AA players and then move your AAA players to the AA league. Next, sign your team you noted earlier. Note: This will take about 10 minutes, and you will have to fill in the batting order and pitching rotation for each team. Pitcher stamina and readiness When you visit the mound, the pitcher's stamina may go up, depending on his reaction. If he has a positive reaction to the mound visit, the stamina will go up. If he has a negative reaction, it will go down. He can also have no reaction. If you have a pitcher warming up, his readiness will go up. Restore pitcher's stamina in between games In dynasty mode, go to "Edit Player" and set your desired pitcher's stamina to 99. Easy homeruns This works better under the rookie difficulty setting. When playing in Yankee Stadium, aim for the right side of the field. It is only 314 ft. When at bat, hold [Up] while you swing . This should result in a home run about 90% of the time. Note: This works better with power hitters. Easy dynasty wins To win dynasty mode easily and get lots of MVP points, select your favorite team. In your dynasty, go to "Management", "Transactions", then "Trades". Make sure the "Budgets" and "Fair Trades" settings are off. Then, just trade away garbage for players such as A-Rod, Ichiro, and Sosa to create an MLB All-Star team. Simulate to the playoffs and you should get over 100 wins every season. Bad hitter Select the "Create A Player" option. Create a player named "erik kiss" (case-sensitive). The player will have a skinny bat that will break every time and send a little dribbler to the pitcher for a sure out. Also, you cannot bunt with him; it will just go foul. Big hitter Select the "Create A Player" option. Create a player named "keegan paterson", "jacob paterson", or "isaiah paterson" (case-sensitive). The player will have a very large bat. He will hit a home run or a hard line drive every time you make contact, no matter what his stats. Huge CAP points Select the "Create A Player" option. Create a player named "john prosen" (case-sensitive) to get a large amount of CAP points in dynasty mode. No CAP arm or leg restrictions Select the "Create A Player" option. Create a player named "kenny lee" (case-sensitive) to change the size of a created player's arms or legs as much as desired. Change music Click the Right Analog-stick to change the music. He has a US rifle, which you should use to shoot the round fuel containers near the crane towers. The snipers will not shoot you, and you will get to see a really great fireworks display. Thomson gun When you have to take Pauly to kill Segerio Morello and must escape instead of running, get out of the car and kill all of your enemies. Search all their bodies. From one of them, you will get a Thomson 1928 which is useful at the harbor. Baseball bat To get a baseball bat in free ride mode, someone will always have one in a taxi. Killing people in black suits Walk behind them and shoot them. This works best with the sawed off shotgun. Easy money Kill the men in the all black suits with the black hat (gangsters) to earn $500 each. Go into the country and speed in a fast car. Blow up cars for $100 each. Drive taxis to earn money. The best way to get easy money in free ride mode is in the countryside on the main road (where the few stores are located). Speed down that road (with the governor off) to collect basically $100 per second. Shoot off tires Aiming at tires and shooting where the bolts are, in the middle. This works best with the Tommy gun. Get in and wait until your wanted level goes down. The most efficient way to evade the police is make a lot of turns. The best turns are in front of or behind another car or the trolley. The police will try to make your exact turn, but will run into the car or trolley. You can also make turns between light posts close to the curb if your car is small or short enough. This also works well during the first mission. If you have a gun and the cops are after you, you can get rid of them by shooting them. This takes some practice, but it can be done. You have to be on foot. Shoot both cops until their weapons fall. Head shots work best. If you manage to kill both advancing officers, you will no longer be wanted. This works best if there is only one car after you (the offense does not matter). The more the cars, the more difficult it is. An Offer You Can't Refuse: Lose the gangsters When you first start driving, go all the way down the road and take a right. Follow this road. This will lead you to where there is only a right turn. Take the turn. Looking left, there seems to be a small barrier blocking the ocean. At the beginning of the turn there is actually a hidden bottom where you can drive. If you slow down to about 50 or 60 miles per hour, drive over the barrier. By going slow enough, you can land at the bottom drive part. The enemy gangsters will not slow down. They will follow you over the barrier. If they have the correct angle or speed, they will fly into the ocean or land upside down. If you have not gone over the ocean or flipped over, there is a ramp where you can escape the gangsters and finish the level. Note: This may require a few attempts. Creme de la Creme: Killing Morello When you get to the countryside, keep a distance from Morello's car. He will then pass the airport. Keep following him out to the bridge near the Lay-By. You will see that it is under construction. An intermission sequence where Tommy pushes Morello's car out over the bridge will begin, and the mission will be completed. It is of course funnier to play the airport mission, but this is much faster.
