The Cheerleader or Pump Up Crowd Cards for the team used will be unlocked. Madden Cards and game cheats: Get a gold rank in any event on the All Pro, Pro and Rookie levels in mini-camp mode. Extra push in tackles: When you are a defender about to give a head-on-collision to the runner, press the Right Analog-stick Down to give extra push in your tackles, increasing the chance of a fumble. Easy tackles: You can get numerous easy tackles with your MLB by using him during your kickoffs. Go to coaching strategies and find "Kickoff". Assign the third player from the left to be your MLB. Assign the first two players on the left as very slow CBs or FSs. When you kick off, kick the ball to the left side where your MLB is assigned. Choose the option to "Continue without saving" (this may not be necessary). Reenter the roster management screen and select "Free Agents." Go to whichever team you want to sign the players to and start looking for your players. You should notice that their new requested salaries and contract lengths will be for three years at a very low salary (depending on the position). Once you have signed all of your players back (and released the temporary players), go back to editing the players and return them to the original ratings. Note: According to the manual, your players will become upset if they feel they are being underpaid for how good they are performing -- you will more than likely have to re-sign some contracts throughout the year, but with the cap room you will save. Getting good players: In order to get a team that will last three to four years of dominance, must start with a team with lots of long contracts in place (for example, the Lions). They have four or six, six and seven year contracts on the good rookies. Trade for other players with long contracts. The first person you need to trade is the tight end that makes $12 million a year. Kellen Winslow from the Browns makes a good replacement. Make sure to not build too good of a roster, as your players have personalities and will get upset if they do not start, get the ball, etc. However, a decent roll playing team with outstanding players at these positions will take it every time. QB, HB, WR, or a second WR will not hurt. With DE/DT OLB/MLB CB SS/FS, 80-85 on every other player is more than sufficient. Also, if you trade these players from the rosters before your franchise, you can then edit them to make them better. However, be careful not to go too high on all of them, as they will all want more money and cause major backroom problems. Fight Night 2004 reference: A song from Fight Night 2004 can be heard in a stadium. Mini-Camp Skill Levels: Complete a challenge in Mini-Camp to open that same skill challenge on the higher difficulty setting. Faster Player Improvement: Before playing under the All-Pro or All-Madden difficulty settings, play your franchise under the Rookie or Pro levels so you can increase stats for your players easily. This will give them more attribute upgrades throughout the season. The more yards your receivers or running backs get, the more points their ratings will increase. Increased Attendance In Franchise Mode: Before playing a home game, enter the 'Owner's' menu and set your 'Advertising' as high as possible. After you play your game, return to the 'Owner's' menu and set 'Advertising' to zero, then simulate the rest of the games for that week. You will not be charged for the advertising, but your attendance will be higher. Do this before every home game to keep your attendance high without paying extra. Easy deep routes You can make an adjustment to your route in create-a-playbook that can make throwing the deep route much easier and the game more fun. In create-a-playbook, if you have a normal streak, adjust the route so that it is going to the side of the receiver (if on the right side, adjust the route to the right; if on left, adjust the route to the left). It is like a fade, and make sure it is at the maximum vertical yardyage. In a game, it usually works best with a play action, but it also is effective in shotgun against a normal man on man with a safety over the top situation. You should wait about two to three seconds, then lob it. It works well when you have a top speed receiver such as Bethel Johnson or Dante Hall, or against a cornerback about 93-94 speed. Touchdown celebrations: When you play as the Eagles against the Ravens and score a touchdown with T.O., dive in the endzone by pressing X. He will do a Ray Lewis dance in the endzone as a celebration. Sign created player with high attributes for three years: When you create a player, make him a free agent. Then, get his attributes up to 75. Next, sign the player for any team desired. Go to that team's rosters and edit his attributes. You can make it as high as 99. When you go to franchise mode with the team the player you created will be on the team with a contract for three years. Create low paid all-star QB: Create a punter or kicker with all his attributes at maximum, including passing. You will sign him for a low salary simply because he is a kicker. Then, set him as the starting quarterback on the depth charts as the season begins. You will now have the best kicker/punter and QB in the league. You may also maximize all passing attributes and take the kicking attributes down to sign him at an even lower price. This is most recommended if you only rarely kick. Antonio Gates Has 0 TDs: Look in the Antonio Gates Player Information screen. It shows his receptions, rec yards, etc. However, they show that Gates had 0 TDs. Gates set the record for TDs by a Tight End with 13. Fake Deuce McCallister stats: When your game is loading you will see a player and their 2004 stats while you are waiting. Once you see Deuce McCallister, it shows that he had 1600+ yards rushing. However, Deuce had 1074yards rushing last year (2004). Bonus agent: Load a player from NCAA Football 06 or NFL Street 2 into NFL Superstar mode to unlock Dan Baker, an agent who has access to the Performance Institute. Extra Crowd Taunts When you hit a homerun, on your trot home, hit Y X or B to do the extra crowd taunts. These are much better than the L and R taunts. Press Y to wave your arm in the air in a victor march. Press B to Clap hard and shake your head. Press X to clap softly. Submitted by: Saad Dominating team If you have a franchise on this game, go to the main menu of franchise mode. Once there, go down to "GM Office", then go to "Roster Management". Select "Player Editor" and use the Left Analog-stick to move left or right to find your franchise team. After finding your team, the game will show a list of all the players on it. Go down to any one of them and you will be able edit their attributes to make them the best as possible. Do this to every one of your team members to dominate the league. Easy card points Select quick play or franchise mode. Set the number of innings to 1 then score by any means while holding the CPU to a no hitter. When the single inning game ends, you will be awarded card points for having a perfect game and a no hitter. Easy hits Pause game play immediately after the pitcher releases the ball. You will be able to see the pitching icon. Easy season win In season mode, go to the GM office, then go to the player editor. Set all your players to A+ then go to all the other teams and make their All-Star players a D-. Move pitch after thrown Use the Right Analog-stick to move a pitch after it is thrown.
