Ice break:

When you are frozen by an enemy, trap, or Boss, move the Analog-stick Up and Down, or Left to Right very rapidly to break free of the ice. This works very well when fighting Bosses with Ice Element attacks such as the Gol Dragon or Sil Dragon. This trick also works in battle mode.

Very hard difficulty setting:

Successfully complete either episode under the hard difficulty setting to unlock the very hard difficulty setting for both episodes. Note: Get to level 40 or higher to unlock the very hard difficulty setting in online mode.

Chair in Lobby:

Hold X and press A while standing in the lobby to create a chair that matches your character. Press A to move forwards or use the Analog-stick to turn. Press B to get rid of the chair.

Cheap kills:

If you are having trouble in a room, try running out of it and go back in. Some monsters will probably go into a dormant mode and allow you to get off a hit or two before they retaliate. This is especially useful against Garanz.

Refill health:

If you are a robot in the game, you can refill your health after receiving damage from an enemy. Find a safe place to rest and remain in that spot for a least a minute. Your health meter will go up a little bit at a time.

FMV sequences:

To view two FMV sequences (one when you create a character and one new sequence), remain idle at the "Press Start" screen. After the background pulses four times, one of the FMV sequences will start.

Control loading screen:

While going online, move the Analog-stick or C-stick to move the light around the screen. When entering an area, move the Analog-stick to turn the tunnel or the C-stick to change the tunnel's speed.

Dressing Room:

To unlock the Dressing Room, complete all areas and quests under the normal difficulty setting.

Ultimate difficulty setting:

Successfully complete either episode under the very hard difficulty setting to unlock the ultimate difficulty setting for both episodes. Note: Get to level 80 or higher to unlock the ultimate difficulty setting in online mode.

Tiny Chaos Garden Download to GBA

Ok, first HAVE THE GBA LINKED UP ONTO THE 4TH CONTROLLER SLOT! Now, start the quest "The Fake in Yellow"and complete it. Go talk to the proffesor's assistant and he will tell you to get your Meseta. DON'T!!!!!! Go back to the Telepipe and you'll see three Rag Rappies saying something like "P P Pip Piii". Freaky, huh? Now go in the direction they face and stand in the little grass patch with boxes by the stream. A little blue Chaos from Sonic Adventure 2 Battle for the GCN will pop out beside the waterfall in the background. He'll give you a key for the little thing that looks like a tall sideless and topless telephone booth with a GBA sign on it. Return to the city and look for it to the right of the Hunter's Guild. The voice will tell you how to do the rest.Oh, i think it does something on SA2B if you link it up with that game. Have fun! (whew my arms ache now)

REAL Way to Get Dressing Room

Get 10,000 Meseta ON YOUR PERSON (not in bank). Quit and go to select a character. When you choose your person with the money, you'll se a fourth option. That's Dressing Room. No need to complete anything (but if you just started out i suggest putting the money on another character and select Recreate).

Fun with traps

If you hate waiting around for Rappys to get back up and you are an Android, set a fire/explosion trap by them. Run to the other side of the area. As soon as they get up to run, the trap will go off and you can grab the items.

If you are being attacked by multiple enemies, herd them into a group then run away from them. When you are about 10 to 15 feet away from them, set a trap and turn back towards the enemy, so that the trap is between you and the group. Fire a shot at the trap to set it off (like the preset traps in most levels). The effect of your trap will still go off, but you will have a bit more control over it.

Slip through blocked and laser blocked doors

This trick requires a Saber, Brand, or no weapon at all. Go to a corner of a blocked or a laser blocked door. Face the corner, then start attacking. Keep doing this, and you will eventually slip through the door. This trick is useful for getting to new places early. Note: This trick is difficult to execute.

Ice break

When you are frozen by an enemy, trap, or Boss, move the "Analog-stick Up" and [Down], or [Lef to [Righ very rapidly to break free of the ice. This works very well when fighting Bosses with Ice Element attacks such as the Gol Dragon or Sil Dragon. This trick also works in battle mode.

Hunters Guild missions

If you successfully complete all the Hunters Guild missions, you will have access to all of the missions all over again. If you complete the mission again, you will be able to keep playing it repeatedly.

Weapons from monsters

If you obtain a special item such as G-Assassins Arms or Bomma's Right Arm, go to the Unsealed Door mission. Talk to the person standing to the right of the portal to the principal after all missions are complete. He will turn your item into a weapon.

Exceed maximum grind

All weapons have a maximum grind. This means that they can be powered up until a certain point, such as Brand +30. However, if the grind is one point under the maximum and you give it a Trigrinder, then it can exceed the maximum grind by two. For example, Brands have a maximum of 30. Once you upgrade it to +29, give it a Trigrinder and it will go to +32.

Unlimited number of MAGs

Note: At least two controllers are required for this trick. Make multiple characters and enter cooperative mode. Have one character drop his or her MAG and the other pick it up. Go back and recreate the person who dropped the MAG and go through the process again until you get as many as desired. Note: You can also do this for Meseta.

Specialized MAGs

Being able to equip Busters to level 1 Force and have them learn Megid is simple if you have specialized MAGs. Put levels of only one type on a MAG and when equipped, it raises that stat by 400. Every stat level on a MAG puts up the corresponding stat by 2 points. Since all MAGs start with 5 levels on Defense, it is the only stat that can truly be maxed.

Change MAG

Get MAG to level 200 and trade with someone else. Get them to use a Star Atomizer and it will evolve into something else. Do this as many times as desired.

MAG fourth evolution formula

This works best if you started a new MAG. First, give it Monomates, Dimates, and Trimates to boost the ATP score. Do this long enough to get attack to 50, then use Anti-Paralysis for a while to boost DEF to 20, and at last DEX to 30 (50 + 30 + 20 = 100). Your MAG will change by your sex and Section I.D. number. Also, once the MAG changes, it will never change again. For example a male Viridia will get Deva. If you change your MAG in different orders, make sure you get a 3 Photon Blast. Once it changed, it will not get a Photon Blast.

Getting Al or Pal Rappies to appear

You must have access to the second tier of quests in order to do this. Select the Fake In Yellow quest and go through the first three areas with Rappies, killing them off. Once in the fourth area with Rappies (where you meet the doctor in the Rappy costume for the second time), there should be a huge amount of Rappies dropping down. Drop a Telepipe and examine them all to see if any of them is an Al (or a Pal under the ultimate difficulty setting) Rappy. If not, enter the pipe to town then quickly return to the area. The Rappies will drop again. Repeat this procedure until eventually one of the normal Rappies turns out to be a rare Rappy. It is recommended that you have the ability to use Ryuker when doing this, as it is cheaper then going back and forward to pay for Telepipes (350 each).

Thing, The
television trailer for the game. Get a doctor to follow you into a fight with the Thing: Use the following trick to get a doctor in the same room with you during your battle with the second giant Thing. Walk to the large garage door. Get the doctor close to the door as well. Then, tell him to not follow you anymore. Push him as close to the door as possible; and close enough to you that when you flip the switch to open the door he will not move. Before you flip the switch, tell him to follow you again. Flip the switch and when you are shown in the locked room with the second giant Thing, he should be beside you. Use him to heal you during the fight with the Thing. Get Whitley to follow you: The following trick requires Stun Grenades (found in the back of the room with Boss 3), Blood Test Kit (found in the same room), and the Grenade Launcher (in the save room down the hall from Boss 3). Starting after third Boss fight (hanging tentacle monster), backtrack your way out of the weapons lab, back up the air vent, and to the "mine" elevator. As soon as you reach the surface, strafe left, and equip both the Grenade Launcher and Stun Grenades. If you step forward at all, it triggers an intermission sequence you have to die and start the level over. Enter first person mode and aim up the corridor, parallel with the bottom of the last metal wall panel. Launch a grenade and quickly walk forward. The intermission sequence will trigger, but Whitley will stand still instead of running off. Now, quickly run ahead of him (preferably block his path to slow him down) and use the Blood Test Kit. He now trusts you enough to follow orders. Order him to follow you (otherwise he walks around the corner triggering guards to attack) and give him a weapon. You have now backup. He only lasts a brief amount of time, and will disappear roughly halfway up the snow corridor, which appears scripted. However, every bit of backup firepower helps in that spot. In the last level where you have to find Whitley as an objective, as you stand in the elevator strafe left and launch a grenade just outside the opening. If done correctly, you can bring Whitley with you to help kill all the troopers. Note: You have to give him some weaponry. Two medics: In the level where you must find Faraday, do not hit the switches until you have met the medic downstairs. Bring him up to the top of the ramps and tell him to stay. Hit the switches and go to find Faraday. Leave, and on your way out, the medic will not have turned. You will get two medics for the remainder of the level. Keep Williams: On the level where you must gain access to the weather station, go to the side of the building to your right. Throw a grenade under the vent and the door will be blown off, allowing access. If you had gone in regularly, Williams would have turned into a Thing. Using this trick will save many medikits for the levels ahead Skip first Boss battle: When you encounter the first Thing Boss, hold Up/Left to run diagonally and you should run under it before it can hit you. This will also aim you directly at the junction box. Immediately start fixing it. As soon as it is almost fixed, hold Right to run through the door. Since he will still keep fixing it as long as you do not release the button, with luck it will be fixed before the Boss attacks for the third time. At the intermission sequence you tend to take off in a random direction, so this may take a few attempts -- save immediately before trying this. If successfully completed, you will lose only about half a bar of health and no ammunition, making the next area much easier. Defeating the second big Thing: Go into to his garage. Fix the electrical panel that operates the hoist. Step back towards the middle of the big door. There is an opening between two of the crates. Using your grenade launcher in first person targeting, send in a grenade. If the Thing turns its head toward you, then you have him targeted. Continue sending in grenades until he begins to burn. You can send in a few more if desired for extra fun. Run into the Thing's room and on the far wall from the big door is a switch. Throw the switch and watch as the Thing dies. You will probably take one hit from him. Defeating the third Boss: Run around the Boss in a circle while shooting it with the machine gun. When it is low on health, use the flame thrower to finish it off. If done correctly, you can kill it without being hit. After you kill the Boss, the Thing in the glass in the room will break out, and the door will be opened with a few guards. This Boss has a sweet spot. If you get directly under it, it will not attack. When you get under it, blast away until its health is in the red, then burn it. Road tunnel: In the level where you first enter the road tunnel, go right to the truck. Blow up the barrel to kill all the little things. You can now either have an engineer fix the lights or not. Follow the left wall back to the door you came in and stop near it. There is a Walker locked up in some boxes. Throw a grenade to blow up the box and let the Walker out. Run back to the truck, or better yet, stand there and watch (if the lights are on). The guards not only get slaughtered, but really wear the Walker down. After he kills the guards, get him to walk around to you (not leaving the general area) then blow up the barrel. If you done correctly, you will kill the walker with ease. Otherwise, torch him.
